Dakine Grindz is a treasure tucked away in Sunset, Utah! Excellent Hawaiian and Filipino cuisine! The food is made to order not like some other places that have under heat lamps. The owners take pride in their food and are abundantly kind and warm to each and every customer, often times letting us know to “stay as long as you want” and to “enjoy your food, if you need anything let us know”. We’ve been there several times and will plan to go back in the future.

Best Hawaiian food ever. Loaded with flavor. We will be coming back. Favorite dished were katsu chicken, pork adobo and adobo fried rice, sweet huli chicken, and pork lumping.

Friendly staff, we went on a Monday to get the all-you-can-eat special. Had a nice menu to choose from. I thought I'd eat more, but portions were more than enough size. There was karaoke available, so we sang a couple of songs. Had a friendly atmosphere. Will be coming back soon with more friends

The food is amazing, the place is always clean, and the staff work tirelessly to make it a great experience for everyone. Why do ya think there are so many repeat customers? Don't let one person, who appeared to have a food service uniform on from a competitoror or something, and who apparently enjoys publicly humiliating a nervous staff member, who may or may not have worked the till in a while, deteur you with their negative review. A kind person would be patient, helpful, and be grateful for an apology. This is a Great place to dine! Try it and see for yourself.

Went to try their new Monday buffet. It was all delicious, and the owner specifically came to check on us for more food and chat with us. Smaller dining area, but definitely good food!

One of the best hawaiin food places in utah, their huli huli chicken and katsu is phenomenal without tasting chemically like other places ive been to. Everything always has tastes fresh with each time I've been here, and their service and in restaurant experience are the same great quality I recommend coming here despite the somewhat pricey food it's well Worth for the ammount they give you.

Absolutely amazing! Staff is very friendly and treats you like family. Food is mouth-watering and worth every penny! Definitely have to stop by with the family!
